Estate Living

Ardkinglas Estate

Set on the shores of Loch Fyne, Ardkinglas Estate offers a spectacular setting for a truly unforgettable stay. The estate blends dramatic Highland scenery with exceptional comfort and world‑famous gardens. Built by Sir Andrew Noble, Andrew's* great‑great‑grandfather, Ardkinglas is part of the same family story that later saw Veronica Noble who became Lady Gainford, purchase Taynish, creating the historic link between the two estates.

  • Stunning lochside location with mountain backdrop
  • Access to the renowned Ardkinglas Woodland Garden
  • Estate walks through ancient oak woodlands
  • Right next to Loch Fyne Oysters and Fyne Ales

Loch Fyne and Fyne Ales were both started by Noble relatives of Andrew.

Duntrune Castle & Private Estates

Experience the privilege of staying at Duntrune Castle — thought to be the oldest continuously inhabited castle in Scotland. Located on the shores of Loch Crinan, this private estate offers an unparalleled glimpse into Scottish history combined with modern comfort. The estate at one point bordered the Taynish estate; the footprint of the Taynish estate shrunk over time to just the Taynish peninsula. So once neighbours, hence the connection.

  • Private estate accommodation with exclusive access
  • Panoramic views over Loch Crinan and surrounding hills
  • Guided tours of the castle with the estate custodians
  • Walking distance to ancient standing stones and coastal paths
